Crafty Birthday for Katie
If I could hangout in this awesome place all day I would. If I could adopt all the creative souls who work there as my own brothers and sisters, I would. If I could take all the craft workshops they offered, I would. :)Since I discovered Craft MNL several months ago, I’ve treated myself to a class, met up and collaborated with the owners, worked with them and their team on three Mommy Mundo events, and learned the art of screenprinting, making handmade dolls, and received heavy doses of inspiration and creativity. One of my memorable visits to Craft MNL was also during the birthday celebration of one of my fave nieces and Reese’s BFFs, Katie.Katie's mom, my cousin and Nurture Nook/ Mommy Matters partner Candy planned an intimate afternoon for her little one, choosing Craft MNL as the venue. With just a few of Katie’s closest friends, it was a well thought-out charmer of a day, and it turned out to be such a memorable treat for all.Craft MNL's handmade decorHandmade nametagsThere were three craft activities planned for the girls (and moms too!) that afternoon.Paint a UnicornTote bag decoratingDecoupage treasure boxJust seeing the hand-brushed calligraphed signs instantly got me in the creative zone!Look at the smile on the birthday girl's face Bella's having funwhile Reese is busyCreative cousins...Reese and i as we finished our treasure boxThe tote bag creations hung up to dryWith Marielle and her team personally supervising the kids (and moms!) we came up with crafty creations while having loads of fun!
