First x Forever: F21 Megamall Restyled

Ever since the brand first landed in Manila 4 years ago, I'd always find it difficult to resist entering the Forever21 store whenever I'm in Megamall. So much so that when I don't have time to shop, I'd walk a bit faster when passing by just so I don't get "pulled in"!When I don't resist the "force" and go inside, I find it's also never easy to leave the store empty handed. That just means any trip to Forever21 is almost always worth the time, and time is THE prime commodity for us moms, isn't it?So I found myself in the F21 store in Megamall for an event recently, said to be a "restyling, revamping and reinvention" of this space we're all familiar with, 2,600 square meters of our shopping, stomping grounds. Upon first look, I thought changes were subtle, but for some reason the brighter walls and fixtures made for a more refreshing feel and also contributed to a more relaxed shopping experience.The store now has a revamped look that is fresh and clean, white walls with splashes of black, wood, brick and industrial elements, all come together.Its layout also now much more organized it is not as easy to get overwhelmed as there are more distinguishable areas for 21Men, Active, Basics, Denim, Lingerie, and Forever 21+, accessories and footwearand Reese's area, for Girls, clearly marked with its bright neon lights.The event opened with host Martine Cajucom welcoming guests and opening remarks by Ms. Dixie Lee of Forever21 ManilaModels strutted their stuff to show off Forever21 pieces from its current Fall season collection.I loved that there were mom and daughter pairings, it made me feel not so OP among my fashion media and blogger friends.:)More snapshots from the show:These 21Men models look like live mannequinsAfter the event, shopping of course was part of the itinerary.
