Happy to have a MANGO Mini Me
Toy cars, action figures, and rough play. Running, jumping, and more running. These are what my days would be filled with when my two boys were still small. Dressing them up would also mean shorts and tees, and maybe the most “fashion” item in their wardrobe would be the mini Chuck Taylors or Nikes. Needless to say, we had lots of fun together with my boys, but to have a daughter is a different kind of fun altogether.Crafts, baking, writing...I find that with my girl, we do things that even I am more inclined towards. I also love that we can just sit and do activities together because with the boys I remember it was non-stop running and jumping, and the last time I tried the going through the jungle gym that is Active Fun, it took only ten seconds for me to get palpitations haha.Dressing daughters up is also fun, though it was much easier when she was a baby and didn't have the capacity nor opinion to voice out her preferences. Nowadays she tells me my style is "plain" while she, on the other hand, prefers the “colorful and the sparkly”.After MANGO Kids was launched last month, I showed Reese the photos of the event and she got excited seeing girls her age strutting the runway. So when we went to MANGO's flagship store in Mall of Asia and she saw the signage, it was the equivalent of my boys seeing a live Wolverine character. She shouts “MANGO Kids! Yay!” and does her “rejoice” pose which looks like this…Reese in a MANGO Kids 100% cotton checkered shirt with floral detail and MANGO Kids slim fit jeans.Check out the floral detail in this cute polo…This stache sweater caught her eye and we paired it with super comfy slim fit floral jeans both from MANGO KidsWith that, Reese and I got inspired to do a floral concept MANGO Mini Me!Me in a halter dress from the MANGO Collection and Reese in MANGO Kids cropped sweater and slim fit jeans, both with soft muted floral prints.I loved that the dress had a floral printed front with checkered back. This was a comfy dainty dress that could bring me from a work day to dinner out. This one’s nice for the holidays…Loved this MANGO Floral dress which had a subtle quilt texture. Not to mention the faux leather collar and sleeves detail. It’s dainty and rugged in one pretty dress. And Reese loved her MANGO Kids quilted floral jacketworn on top of the stache print sweater.>a great piece to have for the holidays and even for travelHappily, "plain ‘ole me" and my sparkly Reese found common ground at MANGO.We love the MANGO Kids line and look forward to more chic styles for my little girl.During this shopping trip, I even learned that at MANGO Kids, Reese wears one size smaller than her normal size. Also noticed the clothes have labels inside wherein you can write the name of your kid! This sure would come in handy for sorting laundry for families with more than one daughter or labeling sweaters and jackets so they don’t get lost in school or a playdate. So much fun playing dress up! And with that I say another prayer of thanks for the gift of having a daughter.Follow MANGO!Facebook: http://facebook.com/mango.comTwitter: http://twitter.com/MangoYouTube: http://youtube.com/mangofashionInstagram: @MangoPinterest: http://pinterest.com/mangofashion
