It's Uniqlo, baby!
After lunch at our favorite bonding placeSlappycakes and cardgames in SM AuraReese and I headed off upwards in the mall towards a store that is everyone's source for dependable basics and easy fashion staples and must haves, Uniqlo. I spotted my friend, celebrity mom and DJ, Delamar, being the master of ceremonies at the exciting launch of Uniqlo's baby line.I was excited to see Delle! Being more or less updated on what's going on in her life because of Instagram, I wanted to congratulate her on all her latest milestones, especially her latest announcement about being on the family way again!Reconnecting with one of my fave mamas, Delamar Arias, here with me and Reese, and one of her kiddie fans:PSo her new 'state' makes her an appropriate host for the launch of these latest pieces from Uniqlo:Delle called in fellow mom Nikka Garcia, who surprised us with the news that she is also pregnant again! Nikka is mostly known as Patrick Garcia's lovely wife and Cheska Kramer's sister in law, but I think Nikka's coming all onto her own, loved seeing how sweet and charming she is in person and also hearing her stories about mommyhood and her kids in their onstage conversations with Delle!Model mom, Nikka Garcia with DelamarDelle and Nikka talked about how they choose products, specifically clothes for their kids. It is a common factor for us moms to find not only comfortable, quality and practical clothes for our kids and family.Uniqlo is everyone's source of comfy, quality, relatively affordable basic wear. Since the chain landed in Manila, I've said goodbye to the days of having to travel to HK to stock up on their basic tees, tanks, elbow sleeve shirts, pencil-cut pants and their ever dependable seamless panties which I hoard. Now I'm half glad I don't have an infant anymore otherwise, I'd be hoarding these too.Check out some of my #topmompicks from Uniqlo Baby:Uniqlo's Babies Collection sets high quality standards. even the care labels are sewn on the outside to keep baby's skin safe.close up of this cute print:Special sewing techniques are done to make sure there are no rough spots or edges that can also irritate baby's skin. Not all manufacturers give a premium on safety standards of its apparel so it was an outstanding revelation to find out that the Uniqlo Baby pieces are not only soft and really charming with the nice prints, the line also follows the global Oeko-Tex Standard 100, which ensures that each piece is free of harmful substances and meets the highest standards of quality.
